My Journey to Editing

The goal of MacsArt Copyediting LLC is to provide professional editing services to publishers, companies, and independent authors. Editing is a partnership leading to a precise, polished, professional manuscript faithfully presenting the vision and voice of the author.
My career in copyediting began after a long career as a registered nurse spent primarily in critical care and emergency departments. I work well under pressure in fast-paced environments. I am the ideal copyeditor for medically oriented projects, both fiction and nonfiction.
In addition to my Bachelor of Science in nursing, I have a copyediting certificate from the University of San Diego Extended Studies program. I have worked with copyediting teams for multiple publishers. Deadlines are respected—and met.
