The goal of MacsArt Copyediting LLC is to provide professional editing services to publishers, independent authors, companies, and web designers. Editing is a partnership, and our goal is a precise, polished, and professional manuscript or document that faithfully presents the vision and voice of the author.

You are that author. Helping you reach that goal is my highest priority. 

My career in copyediting follows a long career as a registered nurse, a career spent predominantly in critical care and emergency departments. This means I work well under pressure in fast-paced environments. 

Deadlines are respected—and met. Although I work with varied genres and subjects, fiction and nonfiction, my nursing background makes me the ideal copyeditor for any nursing, medical, or health-related projects.

I have a certificate in copyediting from the University of California San Diego Extended Studies program. I am a proud member of ACES: The Society for Editing, the Editorial Freelancers Association, the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, and the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors.

I’m addicted to kitten cams, boba milk tea, Doctor Who, and the Beatles. And MacsArt was the name of my dad’s cartooning business.
